| Lands End is the most westerly point in
mainland Britain, and the most visited outdoor tourist attraction in
Cornwall. Lots for all the family to see and do. Lands End has rugged
wave lashed cliffs, stunning views, the Longships Lighthouse and Wolf
Rock off shore, the Isles of Scilly in the distance. America is 2500
miles away across the Atlantic Ocean. At Land's End, a modest charge is made for car parking. Entrance to the complex is free. There are individual entrance fees to the numerous attractions, giving the visitor independence of choice. Land's End has something for everyone, whatever the weather. |

St Michaels Mount is situated on an island 500 yards from the Cornish coast at Marazion less than 2 miles along the coast from Lombard House Hotel. It once had a chapel built by Edward the Confessor under the jurisdiction of the Abbey. The Island can be reached at low tide by walking across its causeway. At times when the causeway is covered by the tide there is a ferry that carries visitors to and from the island. It is thought that St.Michaels Mount has been associated with Christianity since the 5th century and has been associated by some with Roman Ictis. |
| Between the town centre and sea front lie the Morrab
Gardens - three acres of renowned sub-tropical gardens which are
home to a surprising variety of plants, shrubs and trees which thrive in
the mild climate. Some of the plants grown for over a century here
include magnolias, camellias, tree ferns, palm trees, and banana plants. Close to the Morrab Gardens is the Penlee Memorial Park where fifteen acres of open parkland host a small open air theatre, tennis courts, children's play area, an adventure park and a football field. Located within the Penlee Park grounds is the Penlee House Gallery & Museum. |

The Eden Project nestles in a giant fifty
metre deep crater overlooking St Austell Bay. Two gigantic geodesic
conservatories, one a majestic rainforest cathedral, the other
host to the fruits and flowers of the Mediterranean, South Africa and
California. Outside, in the landscaped grounds, you will find tea and
lavender, sunflowers and hemp. Wherever you are in the world you will
recognise this spectacular project with its stunning architecture and
breathtaking living plant collection. The Eden Project is an unforgettable experience in an epic location as well as an educational resource and environmental showcase. |
