The Bed and Breakfast
Lombard House Bed and Breakfast in Penzance was built in the early 18th century. It is a Grade II listed building with many period features. Located on a quiet  south facing terrace overlooking the sea and the promenade. Private guests car park.

Tom and Rita have owned and managed Lombard House since 1995. Their aim is to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a very high standard of service and comfort. They are resident at all times. A lovely front garden is available for guests to sit in and relax with a good book or perhaps a glass of wine, whilst enjoying the wonderful views across Mounts Bay. A perfect location for a long or short break.

An elegant regency period house offering quality bed and breakfast where you can experience the unique and homely surroundings not found at other Bed and Breakfasts. Lombard House is conveniently located for the town centre, pubs & restaurants  and many local attractions. The train and bus station is only a few minutes away and the Scillonian 3 ferry terminal and the Heliport for the Scilly Isles are also nearby.

Penzance and Area
Lombard House Bed and Breakfast is better situated than many other Bed and Breakfasts in the area being close to Penzance town centre, ferry terminal and railway station. It is an excellent base for all types of activities when exploring and touring the north and south coasts of west Cornwall, with miles of golden beaches and glittering sea. A wealth of history and antiquities, exotic gardens, inland and coastal walks, make this an area of outstanding natural beauty. With such a vast range of activities including horse riding, cycling, surfing and golf courses, there's something for everyone to make your visit to West Cornwall something special.

Visit the spectacular St Michael's Mount with its enchanting castle and medieval church, the busy fishing port of Newlyn, and Mousehole. An unspoilt idyllic fishing village, Lamorna Valley which is famous for its colony of artists back at the turn of the last century. The internationally famous open-air Minack Theatre at Porthcurno with its secluded sandy beach. There's also Lands End, a major tourist attraction with spectacular and stunning views of the dramatic rugged coastline.
